January 28, 2021 The charge is murder.

The gup of the Court of Marsala, Sara Quittino, indicted Vincenzo Frasillo, 54, accused of having killed his partially disabled wife Rosalia Garofalo, aged 52, by savagely beating her for three days in a row.

The story dates back to exactly one year ago in Mazara.



The trial will begin on March 1st before the Trapani Assize Court.

In addition to the victim's family, brothers and son, some associations have been formed to protect women victims of violence.



Rosalia Garofalo for a couple of years had been moving and speaking with difficulty after an ischemia, she was mercilessly beaten for three days by the man with whom she had been married for 30 years.

The woman was found dead at home in via Calipso, on the double bed, with clear signs of beatings all over her body.

To call for help, but when it was too late, it was her husband.

The clues collected by the police led to the man, unemployed and prejudiced.

The handcuffs were released a few hours after the crime.
