Velten (dpa / bb) - In an accident in an industrial park in Velten (Oberhavel district), a container with 500 liters of a cleaning fluid with nitric acid was damaged on Thursday.
The approximately 15 liters of leaked acid could be recovered, said a spokeswoman for the North Police Department.
Firefighters secured the area so that everything went smoothly.
People were not injured.
The soil was not polluted.
Nitric acid is corrosive to the skin, respiratory tract and mucous membranes.
