The Sablons district in Le Mans is in shock.
At the end of the morning on Wednesday, a child died after falling from the eighth floor of a building, reports France 3. The victim, aged 3, allegedly fell from a window in the family home.
According to the first testimonies, the mother was not present in the apartment which does not necessarily mean that the little boy was alone at the time of the facts, specifies France Bleu Maine, while an investigation was opened.
A little girl already victim of a fall
The social landlord has set up a psychological unit for the inhabitants of the building.
A few months ago, the neighborhood had already been in mourning, with the death of a 2-year-old girl in an accidental fall.
