Hamburg (dpa / lno) - In Hamburg, 246 new corona infections were detected on Thursday.
That is 165 less than on Wednesday and 60 less than on Thursday a week ago, as the health authority announced (as of 12 noon).
The incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, fell from 101.3 back below the 100 mark to 98.1.
A week ago this value was 97.4.
According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the number of corona deaths rose significantly by 26 to 1029 on Thursday.
According to the health authority, 45,789 people have been shown to have been infected with the corona virus since the outbreak of the pandemic in the Hanseatic city.
According to RKI estimates, 38,300 of them are considered to have recovered.
According to the health authority, 437 corona patients were treated in the Hamburg hospitals as of Wednesday, 90 of them in intensive care units.
That was ten or five fewer patients than the day before.
