It was in August 2019 that the doctor Karolin Hakim, with her little baby in her arms, was shot to death at Ribersborg in Malmö.

Her partner, who according to the police's suspicions is believed to have been the target, managed to escape the shots.

Suspected murder plots were suspended

On August 14, just over a week before the murder of Karolin Hakim, the 22-year-old was arrested, suspected of having planned to murder a man outside a gym in Limhamn.

Two weapons were found in a car;

an automatic weapon and a sharp-edged pistol.

But the crime was stopped because one of the men called the police and alerted.

In the district court, another man in the group told about the murder plans.

The 22-year-old man was at large between August 18 and October 21, 2019.

In court, however, the 22-year-old was acquitted of the suspicions of preparation for murder and sentenced instead of a felony to three years in prison.

He has been the subject of police efforts since he was young, as he has been suspected and convicted of violent crimes several times.

He denies any wrongdoing in connection with the murder of Karolin Hakim.
