January 27, 2021No “Soldier Jane” style shave but not even Grace Kelly's iconic “tuppo”.

The revolution in the US military for female soldiers also goes through the hairstyle.

Until now the rule required to collect the hair in "tuppo" or in a kind of bun with a tail.

From February this will no longer be the case.

A step forward especially for the female soldiers who belong to ethnic groups other than the Caucasian one because it will be possible to wear braids or even a loose tail.

Among some women there had been cases of health or insecurity.

Some of them had lost their hair or had had scalp damage from too tight hairdos.

Not taking into account that the too tight chignon did not fit into the combat helmet, creating visibility problems.

The new rules will go into effect in February.

Clear the polish on your nails and some accessories, such as earrings.

No change of pace for men who will have to continue shaving.
