Neckarsulm (dpa) - After two wins in a row, the handball players of the Thuringian HC suffered another setback in the Bundesliga.
At the table neighbors Neckarsulmer Sport-Union, the team of coach Herbert Müller lost on Wednesday 32:38 (13:16).
The Thuringians' best thrower in their sixth defeat of the season was backcourt player Marketa Jerabkova, who scored nine goals.
With 19:13 points, the THC slipped to sixth place in the table, the Neckarsulm women are now fifth.
After a passable initial phase, the guests lost control of the game in the middle of the first half and were particularly vulnerable, especially in defense.
With a lightning start into the second half, the Neckarsulm women gained a reassuring lead and were then no longer in danger.
The highest gap was reached at 30:23 with twelve minutes before the end.
