In the night from Saturday to Sunday, after a drunken evening, a group of five young people decided to go out by car to go to refuel with alcohol in the south of Toulouse.
The owner of the car gave up his seat at the wheel to one of his friends, who was only 17 years old and therefore did not have the license.
While they were driving at high speed, it was the passenger who was responsible for changing gears.
Until the inexperienced driver lost control of the car and hit a tree on a Cazères departmental road, around 3.30 a.m.

One of his friends, aged 18, died in the accident, two other of his friends were seriously injured.
If their condition seems stabilized, they will certainly have consequences.
“The investigations made it possible to reconstitute the facts, the driver, almost unharmed, fled.
He was quickly arrested by the gendarmes and recognized his involvement, ”Toulouse public prosecutor Dominique Alzéari said on Tuesday.
This 17-year-old was indicted for “homicide and involuntary injuries”, aggravated by a hit-and-run and failure to assist a person in danger as well as by the consumption of alcohol and certainly drugs.
He remanded in custody Tuesday evening.
