Perhaps the worst has been avoided.

Monday evening, the police called Monplaisir district in Angers made a surprising discovery in the apartment of a resident.

It was the latter who called them around 10 p.m., distraught, after hearing a loud banging noise, reports

Arrived on the scene, the police began their spotting before finding a 22 caliber long rifle bullet, which had lodged under a piece of furniture in the living room!

According to the daily, an impact was also identified on a roller shutter.

An investigation has been opened to try to find out more about the origin of this bullet.

The daily indicates that "two men fleeing on the handlebars of a scooter were seen shortly after the detonation was heard".
