Ravensburg (dpa) - In 2019, 21 million puzzles were still over the counter - but how many were there in the Corona year?
Ravensburger Spiele presents its business figures for 2020 today.
Corona-related restaurant closings and contact restrictions had significantly increased the demand for puzzles, as the Upper Swabian toy manufacturer reported after the first lockdown last year.
However, the group did not see itself as the winner of the crisis.
The closings of the stationary trade would also have affected Ravensburger.
The puzzles, games and books from the manufacturer with the blue triangle are sold worldwide.
In 2019, sales amounted to more than half a billion euros.
Ravensburger employs more than 2000 people.
