Dresden (dpa / sn) - Saxony should become a pioneer in digitization according to the will of Saxon IT associations.
The initiative "Digital Saxony" wants to present a position paper with corresponding demands on politics today.
The corona pandemic has led to a significant boost in digitization in all areas of life, it was said in advance.
Now this development has to be linked and digitization projects have to be implemented quickly.
Represented in the initiative are, among others, the digital association Bitkom, the cluster IT Mitteldeutschland, the regional association of the cultural and creative industries of Saxony and the industry network Silicon Saxony.
Around 360 manufacturers, suppliers and research institutes from the microelectronics sector are represented in the network.
