As the head of the country's police Willem Wuleners noted, young people took to the streets of several cities in the Netherlands, but law enforcement officers did not have to use force to disperse the demonstrators.
According to him, the police managed to take control of the situation and convince people to disperse without violence.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of the riots in different cities of the Netherlands, more than 150 people were detained.
People have taken to the streets for several evenings in a row to protest the restrictions imposed in connection with the spread of the coronavirus.
