The investigative chamber of the Dijon Court of Appeal accepted "almost all" of the requests for new expertise, in particular in research for DNA of relatives, in the investigation into the assassination of little Grégory Villemin in 1984 , a lawyer for Grégory's parents told AFP on Wednesday.

"The Court of Appeal granted almost all of the requests for new research, particularly in relation to kinship," said François Saint-Pierre, one of the lawyers for the Villemin couple.
Most of the requests from the child's parents, Christine and Jean-Marie Villemin, were centered on DNA, the only one capable, according to several players in the case, of solving one of the most enigmatic news items in French criminal annals. .
