Kiel (dpa / lno) - Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) has asked the people in Schleswig-Holstein to consistently comply with the corona rules despite the state government's step-by-step plan for easing.

"The perspective plan should help all those who have become a little corona tired," said Günther on Wednesday in the state parliament.

The people would probably have to live for several months with contact restrictions to contain the infection process.

"That will remain a bitter reality in our country."

Günther emphasized that it was too early to give the all-clear.

He did not understand people who did not follow the rules even after nine months of the pandemic.

That will have consequences in the north in the future.

However, the government is obliged to show the people in the pandemic perspectives.

However, giving specific dates for possible opening steps "only creates frustrations" if these are ultimately not kept.

He is not so naive to believe that the step-by-step plan presented on Tuesday for incidence-based easing steps will be implemented one-to-one at the federal level.

What is needed, however, is a clear and transparent set of rules.

His coalition's proposal is "a good plan".

Günther expects that when the perspective plan is implemented there will be different rules in the federal states: "Yes, it will."

However, this would exclude the possibility that there are more openings in some regions than in other countries, despite higher numbers of infections.

However, this has been the case in the past.

There is high demand for the step-by-step plan from other countries.
