Speyer (dpa / lrs) - At its traditional press conference today, the Speyer diocese offers an outlook on important topics in 2021. The event will take place digitally due to the corona.
Bishop Karl-Heinz Wiesemann and Vicar General Andreas Sturm want to talk, among other things, about coming to terms with the abuse scandal as well as the prevention initiative “Safe Place Church” and the diocese's view of the corona pandemic.
In addition, Cathedral Chapter Peter Schappert and Finance Director Jörg Lang present the budget.
The Speyer diocese has a good 500,000 Catholics in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
