January 27, 2021 The mayor of Moscow, Serghei Sobyanin, has ordered the removal of the latest restrictions imposed on the capital, opening the door to a normal de facto life.

All venues, such as bars, restaurants, night clubs and discos, will be able to return to serve customers from 23:00 to 06:00 in the morning (the limitation was imposed last November).

The obligation for companies to put at least 30% of staff into smart-working then turned into a "recommendation".

In fact, the only limitations now are for museums, cinemas and theaters, which have to work at 50% of capacity.

The mayor said last week that the daily increase in the incidence of Covid-19 cases did not exceed 3,000 infections per day and the number of hospitalized patients decreased by another 1,000 people.

For the first time since mid-June 2020, more than half of the beds are available in Covid hospitals, the mayor said.

"The pandemic is in decline, and in these conditions it is our duty to create the conditions for the fastest possible economic recovery", explained Sobyanin, remembering however that the probability of contracting the coronavirus remains and the fight against the pandemic is not over. so you still have to "be careful".

"However, I sincerely congratulate you, friends, for our common victory and for one more step towards a return to normal life in the beautiful city of Moscow," concluded the mayor.
