The updated situation in Italy and in the world

There are 15,204 new positive coronavirus cases registered in the last 24 hours according to data from the Ministry of Health.

Yesterday there were 10,593.

Over 2.5 million cases in Italy.

The deaths were 467 (yesterday 541).



There are 293,770 tests for coronavirus (molecular and antigenic) carried out in Italy in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

Yesterday there were 257,034.

The positivity rate is 5.17% (yesterday it was 4.1%, so up more than 1%). 



Intensive care admissions for Covid-19 are down by 20 units in the balance between entries and exits compared to yesterday, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

There are 115 daily admissions. In total there are 2,352 people in intensive care.

On the other hand, 21,161 patients are hospitalized in the ordinary wards, down by 194 units compared to yesterday. 



The currently positive are 477,969 (-4,488) with 21,161 hospitalized with symptoms (-174) and 2,352 in intensive care (-20).

454 thousand patients remain in home isolation while 19,172 people are cured or discharged.

Lazio

Today, out of over 12,000 swabs in Lazio (+2,530) and almost 16,000 antigenic for a total of over 28,000 tests, there are

positive cases (+299), 62 deaths (+19) and +2,505 cured.

Hospitalizations are decreasing and intensive care is stable, while cases and deaths are increasing.

The ratio between positives and buffers is 10%, but if we also consider the antigenic the percentage drops to 4%.

Cases in Rome city are at 600 ".



Puglia

In Puglia, out of 11,802 tests for Covid-19 infection,

. 30 deaths have been recorded. Since the beginning of the emergency 1,276,613 tests were carried out; 62,204 are the patients cured; 53,443 are the cases currently positive.



Campania

The Campania region crisis unit has announced that the positives of the day are

(of which 84 cases identified by rapid antigen tests ) of which asymptomatic: 1,037 and symptomatic: 57 out of 15,933 swabs (of which 1,656 antigenic). The total of positives is 216,930 (of which 939 antigenic) out of 2,367,290 swabs (of which 17,174 antigenic). 26 new deaths are recorded (9 died in the last 48 hours and 17 died previously but registered yesterday) for a total of 3,669. The recovered are 1,390 bringing the total number to 150,266. Intensive care beds available: 656; occupied: 107. Beds of hospital stays available: 3,160;

employed: 1,447.



Emilia Romagna

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 213,501 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna,
