It is toilets upstairs in the A-house and C-house at Bregårdsskolan that have had sink constructions destroyed.

- Someone or someone went in and broke the water traps in a number of toilets, turned on the water tap, locked the door from the outside and then went to the next building and did the same, says Per-Arne Jibbefors,

Water has been running for a long time

The whole thing must have happened sometime during Monday afternoon last week and was not discovered until Tuesday morning.

- It was cleaning staff who discovered that water was running down the walls, says Per-Arne.

The incident has been reported to the police, but there are currently no suspects.

The damage is extensive, as water seeped several floors into the building.

- We have a damage company inside that is drying out with fans and reviewing the damage.

It is difficult at the moment to assess the costs for this, but it is between half a million and up to one million kronor.

May be liable for compensation

Extensive work now awaits to repair the damage and try to get compensation from insurance companies.

- Even if we are reimbursed, the municipality has a deductible that must be paid of SEK 250,000 and those who go to upper secondary school are minors.

Right now there is no suspect, but in the long run this may mean that guardians may replace us.

- You get angry, sad and angry, says Per-Arne Jibbefors.
