On January 26, local time, US President Biden signed a series of administrative measures surrounding the racial equality policy.

He condemned racism and xenophobia, including the discrimination and prejudice faced by Asians during the new crown pandemic, "this is unacceptable."

  On the same day, Biden publicly signed a number of administrative orders at the White House involving housing, prison reform, and aboriginals, including a memorandum on condemning and combating racial discrimination and xenophobia against Asian Americans and people in Pacific island countries.

US media reported that Biden will ask the Department of Justice to assist in collecting more accurate data and report incidents of hatred and harassment against Asians.

The advocacy organization "Asian Advancing Justice" (AAAJ) reported that during the pandemic, it received about 2,600 self-reported hate incidents, ranging from verbal insults to physical violence.
