Landshut (dpa / lby) - There have been around 80 accidents within 24 hours due to snow and slippery roads in Lower Bavaria.

13 people were slightly injured in the accidents, the police said on Wednesday.

"The driver of a clearing vehicle was lucky in an accident," the message said.

The man was said to have come too close to a track at Ergoldsbach station (Landshut district) on Tuesday with his small tractor and was touched by an arriving train.

Nobody got hurt.

An overturned tanker truck caused obstacles on the Autobahn 93 for hours.

The truck skidded on Tuesday morning on a snow-covered road in the Kelheim district.

The more than 20,000 liters of glue in the tank had to be pumped out, according to the local police.

The road was not clear until around midnight.

The driver was uninjured, the damage is around 110,000 euros.

There were four advertisements on Tuesday evening for snowmobile drivers in Neureichenau (Freyung-Grafenau district).

"You apparently mistook a private garden for a snow slope," said the Lower Bavarian police.

The homeowner turned to the officials.
