Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - A shock hit by Andreas Albers has increased the concerns of 1. FC Nuremberg in the 2nd Bundesliga.

The Danish striker of SSV Jahn Regensburg scored the goal to 1-0 (0-0) for the Upper Palatinate at the start of the second half on Wednesday evening in the 88th minute.

Nuremberg have been without a win for five games, four of which they have lost.

In the table, SSV Jahn Regensburg now even overtook the Francs with the same points, who are only four points ahead of relegation place 16.

Three days after the 2: 5 clap against Hannover 96, the team of coach Robert Klauss presented itself without ideas on the offensive.

The Regensburg team had the match winner in Albers, who met for the sixth time this season.

Opportunities?

Basically nil in the first half.

The Nuremberg and Regensburg neutralized each other.

Only two scenes served as eye-catchers in the tough game, but they were blown off: Jahn keeper Alex Meyer fended off a massive header from Lukas Mühl (24th), a supposed hit by Andreas Albers (28th) after Kuddelmuddel in the "club" defensive didn't count.

The Nuremberg team surprised with two chains of three in front of goalkeeper Christian Mathenia.

Former captain Hanno Behrens proved to be an asset and was allowed to run again from the start.

Youngster Tim Latteier made his starting line-up debut for the ailing Robin Hack.

The Norwegian newcomer Mats Möller Daehli from KRC Genk sat on the bench and experienced the only chance of the first half from there: Regensburg's Albers (41st) volley just missed the left post.

The Nürnbergers lacked the pace on the offensive to defeat the Upper Palatinate.

In addition, they were in a promising position - which seldom came up - far too hesitant.

After almost 70 minutes, the Regensburg team tried to set the tone in attack by substituting Albion Vrenezi and David Otto for Aaron Opoku and André Becker.

But it was again the angular Albers (71.), who challenged Mathenia with a twisting shot.

The Franks were only dangerous with a free kick from Johannes Geis (81st).

Albers then shocked the home side late.
