Erfurt (dpa / th) - During the evening Advent Vespers with a special light installation in the Erfurt Augustinian Church, 8600 euros in donations were collected.
“It is still unclear what exactly we will use the money for.
But it should benefit the culture in the Augustinian monastery, ”said the pastor in charge, Bernd Prigge, according to a statement on Wednesday.
Visitors to a total of 40 devotions during Advent and Christmas had donated the money.
The Berlin artist Philipp Geist used a special, colorful installation in the Protestant church for the services.
