Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - In the trial against a suspected IS terrorist, the judgment of the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court is expected today (11 a.m.).
According to the indictment, the 31-year-old planned murder and terrorist attacks in Germany and Albania with a terrorist cell of Tajik compatriots.
The federal prosecutor has applied for eight and a half years in prison for the man from Wuppertal.
The allegations were essentially confirmed.
The defense lawyers see it differently: their client was neither a member of IS nor a planned contract murder in Albania and the planned murder of a critic of Islam in Düsseldorf.
They did not submit a specific criminal complaint.
According to the indictment, the man followed the request of high-ranking IS officials.
Only the allegations of terrorist financing and the procurement of instructions for a terrorist attack dropped the investigators against the accused.
