China Taiwan Net, January 26, according to Taiwan's "Wang Pao" report, after the new crown vaccine has been launched in the mainland and other countries and regions, Taiwan has been quiet.

Mainland Taiwan-related persons pointed out that the Mainland has prepared relevant plans early, whether it is in the form of non-governmental donations, or through Taiwanese compatriots who can provide vaccines from the Mainland to Taiwan.

Mainland Taiwan-related scholars said that the mainland is willing to provide mainland-made vaccines to Taiwan based on the feelings of compatriots.

However, Taiwan’s “Macao Council” stated that according to Taiwan’s relevant regulations, mainland vaccines are not yet allowed to be imported into Taiwan.

Looking at the world, the mainland's domestically produced new crown vaccine has now obtained contracts for nearly 500 million doses from about 17 countries, and the number is still growing.

Regarding whether to donate vaccines from the mainland to Taiwan, mainland officials have so far made no public statement.

People involved in Taiwan said that it is certainly not a problem to provide mainland vaccines to Taiwan, but Taiwan must first remove political and legal obstacles, so that mainland vaccines can be imported into Taiwan and Taiwan's epidemic can be alleviated.

Chen Shizhong, the commander of the Taiwan Epidemic Command Center, once stated that whether or not mainland vaccines can enter Taiwan involves trade regulations between Taiwan and the mainland. In this regard, the Mainland Affairs Commission of Taiwan further stated on the 25th that mainland vaccine imports involve the marketing authorization of vaccine drugs in Taiwan and cross-strait trade. According to Taiwan’s current regulations, vaccines from mainland China are not yet allowed to be imported into Taiwan.

Vaccines are far away, and Taiwan's property insurance company's sales of epidemic prevention policies have broken the table. When interviewed on the 25th, senior insurance professionals said that this epidemic prevention policy is estimated to exceed 200,000.

Taiwan’s epidemic prevention policy went on sale on December 22 last year. At first, the sales situation was not good. Taoyuan Hospital began to warm up after the spread of the epidemic. Last Friday, four days after the media’s enthusiastic report, people rushed to buy it.
