“The decrease in immunity lasts one and a half to two months after the transferred COVID-19 and is reversible.

Clinically, it manifests itself as asthenization syndrome, ”Totolyan said.

The expert clarified that those who have had coronavirus complain of increased fatigue and drowsiness.

Totolyan noted that naturally occurring immunity is, as a rule, "more persistent than post-vaccination."

At the same time, according to the academician, this rule does not apply to the coronavirus, since not all those who have been ill develop neutralizing antibodies.

According to him, the antibodies formed in the body after being vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V and Epivakkorona vaccines protect better than those formed as a result of a mild infection.

Earlier, physician and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov, in an interview with NSN, assessed the effect of antibodies after recovery and vaccination against COVID-19.
