"Sweden on Tuesday extends the validity of the recommendations, asks citizens to refrain from insignificant international travel until April 15," - quoted by the publication Local Foreign Minister Ann Linde.

It is noted that the Swedish authorities also do not encourage travel within the European Union.

Previously, it was assumed that the recommendation will come to an end on January 31.

On January 24, it became known that the Swedish government is introducing a ban on entry from Norway against the backdrop of the spread of the "British" strain of coronavirus in the Oslo region.
