Austrian Marco Schwarz won the Schladming slalom on Tuesday evening, counting for the Men's World Cup, ahead of two Frenchmen, Clément Noël and Alexis Pinturault.

Author of the best time in the first heat, another Austrian, Manuel Feller, left at the start of the second heat, on a track where visibility declined very quickly, the snow falling harder and harder.

Schwarz, very strong in the second run, won his second slalom of the winter and climbed to his sixth podium in seven slaloms.

He was sixth in the first run, a tenth of a second behind Noël.

Pinturault was only able to complete the 11th fastest time but made up for it well in the second heat.
