Munich (dpa / lby) - In the nationwide raid on child pornography, 15 objects were searched in Bavaria.

According to information from the German Press Agency on Tuesday, a focus with three searched objects was in the Rosenheim area.

There were further searches in the areas of Munich, Traunstein, Ingolstadt, Fürstenfeldbruck, Kempten, Landshut, Regensburg, Passau, Straubing, Bamberg, Coburg, Ansbach and Schweinfurt.

The accused were released again after the searches.

Among other things, computers, cell phones and hard drives were seized.

In the raid, which also focused on North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony, the police and public prosecutor's office took action against 65 suspects who owned and distributed child pornographic content, as investigators announced in Cologne on Tuesday.

The proceedings therefore arose from the investigations into the Bergisch Gladbach child abuse complex.
