Hundreds of candidates are vying for the legislative elections of March 6 in Côte d'Ivoire.

255 seats in 205 constituencies are at stake. Constituencies divided between the PDCI and its allies of the pro-Gbagbo platform of EDS.

Henri Konan Bédié's party aligns nearly 140 candidates and leaves a hundred seats to his ally.

Even if in a few cases, candidates from both formations are running for the same seat.

Still recovering in France, Maurice Kakou Guikahué, number 2 of the PDCI will defend his chair as a deputy in Gagnoa sub-prefecture, in particular against Marie Odette Lorougnon, in charge of women within the FPI Gbagbo with whom the PDCI is allied for this ballot.

In Marcory, Mayor Aby Raoul will wear the PDCI colors alongside an outgoing deputy running mate, in this constituency which has two seats.

But he will face a close friend of Laurent Gbagbo, in the person of Damana Pickass, exiled in Ghana for 10 years.

Same scenario in Port Bouet where the PDCI mayor Sylvestre Emmou is competing against a candidate aligned by the EDS ally, Justin Koné Katinan, another exile close to former president Gbagbo.

In the Plateau, Jacques Ehouo mayor and outgoing deputy will defend his seat.

Just like Yasmina Ouegnin in Cocody.

She was elected as an independent in 2016. This time, she received the nomination of the party from Henri Konan Bédié.

And then as an air of revenge, Georges Ezaley will try to conquer the chair of deputy for Bassam two years after losing the town hall.

Unsurprisingly, the PDCI puts the package on the central regions, but does not neglect the others for all that.

Jean Louis Billon is a candidate in Hambol, in Dabakala, a city of which he has long been mayor.

Finally in Haut Sassandra, Alphonse Djedje Mady, a figure of the PDCI, finally obtained the nomination of the party after having first submitted his file as an independent.
