For the first time in 66 years, a remnant of a fresh meteorite has been found in Sweden.

In addition, it is an iron meteorite - of which there are only a few known cases in Sweden.

The find consists of about twenty small pieces from the meteorite - and in the future they will search for larger parts from it.

Jörgen Langhof received tips about the place where the stone was suspected to have fallen and then he started looking.

Shortly afterwards, he found several smaller pieces from the meteorite.

- It was cool, he says.
