This Tuesday, several demonstrations took place throughout France at the initiative of a national inter-union to ask globally "more means" from the government.

According to the ministry, 11% of teachers went on strike.

Between 30 and 40% according to the unions.

In Paris, several thousand of them demonstrated alongside school nurses, but also students and high school students.

A motley procession with many demands.

Their discomfort is deep, so the teachers took to the streets.

Blasé, considering himself discredited and not at all reassured by the job cuts announced for the next school year.

Norman Gourier is a French teacher.

They are morally exhausted.

When you ask colleagues, of course the salaries are not good, but this is not their first request.

They would be ready to work with the current salary if they had good working conditions.

Symbolically dressed in survival blankets, the school nurses were also there.

They who, in the future reform project will no longer be under the tutelage of the State but of local communities.

Unacceptable for Sylvie.

The health crisis is already doing a lot of damage.

There has been no creation of a nursing station to help us trace contact cases and now we are being asked to close our infirmaries to carry out large-scale tests.

If we do that, we are more welcoming the students.

"

Several hundred high school and

college students

were also part of the procession.

The few measures announced Friday by Emmanuel Macron are far from satisfying them.

Like Lucas, a history student at the Sorbonne: “

It would be ten times easier if we were listened to, if we were heard.

We now have to demonstrate, to go to the streets

.

"

Lucas and the procession will not have had the opportunity to show their discontent until in front of the Ministry of Education, rue de Grenelle.

The police stopped the parade a few hundred meters before.
