Gladenbach (dpa / lhe) - In a collision between two cars in Gladenbach near Marburg, four people were injured on Tuesday.

According to the police, an 18-year-old ignored the right of way in his car at an intersection and crashed into the car of a 78-year-old, the police said.

The young driver and his two companions, aged 18 and 19, were injured, as was the 78-year-old man.

The 19-year-old had to be rescued from the vehicle.

A blood test should clarify whether the young driver was unfit to drive.

All four injured were taken to hospitals.
