Draft ratification of the agreement on the extension of the START Treaty sent to the State Duma committee

"Chairman of the State Duma Viacheslav Volodin sent to the relevant committee a bill submitted by the president on the ratification of the Agreement on the Extension of the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the United States of America on Measures to Further Reduce and Limit Strategic Offensive Arms of April 8, 2010," RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier, the Kremlin reported that Putin had a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden, during which the parties expressed satisfaction with the fact that both countries exchanged notes on reaching an agreement to extend the START treaty.

Later, Putin submitted to the State Duma a bill on the ratification of the agreement on the extension of the START Treaty.
