The temperatures are between one and five degrees, in the mountains there is slight permafrost.

Above 600 meters, a strong westerly wind also creates snow drifts.

In the night of Wednesday the clouds become thicker again.

In the lower areas it should rain, in the mountains up to three centimeters of fresh snow fall.

At temperatures as low as minus four degrees, the roads in the country can be slippery.

Even during the day it should rain or snow again and again.

The maximum values ​​are between zero and six degrees.

At the end of the week, according to the DWD, it remains wet, but it is getting warmer: On Friday up to eleven degrees are possible on the Rhine, it said.
