Frenchwoman Tessa Worley claimed her 14th Alpine Skiing World Cup victory on Tuesday, her first in more than two years, by winning the giant slalom at Kronplatz (Plan de Corones) in Italy.

Worley, fifth at the end of the first round, beat the Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami (2nd at 27 / 100th) and the big favorite of the day, the Italian Marta Bassino, 3rd at 73 / 100th.

The double giant world champion, 31, has not won on the world circuit since October 2018.
