Berlin (dpa / bb) - For the production of the fourth season of the popular TV series “Babylon Berlin”, more than 2000 extras from Berlin and Brandenburg are still being sought.
As the agency Filmgesichter from Berlin announced on Tuesday, men between the ages of 18 and 50 as well as women of all ages with chin-length hair or shorter, with a page cut or bobbed head are in demand.
Men should be no taller than six feet and clean-shaven.
Beards are undesirable - with the exception of full beards for older men.
The men have to be prepared for the mask department to give them a cut.
Because the fourth season of the series takes place in the 1920s and early 1930s, colored or highlighted hair, undercuts, tanning beds, artificial fingernails, piercings or visible tattoos are not in fashion.
On the other hand, disabled people with amputations, people with physical deformities such as deformed limbs and physical disabilities as well as "emaciated" looking women and men, "preferably with lively faces and lean bodies", as it was said, could also apply.
"Age doesn't matter here."

Shooting will take place on one to three days this spring and summer, depending on availability.
As in the previous three seasons, the directors are Tom Tykwer, Achim von Borries and Henk Handloegten.
