"Whatever the people of Sörmland have done, it has been good"

Last week, 416 new cases of covid-19 were confirmed, according to recent figures from Region Sörmland.

The week before that, 505 cases were confirmed and the week before that 840. But even though it is a clear reduction, it is important that the people of Sörmland continue to follow the recommendations so that the infection does not pick up speed again, says Signar Mäkitalo.

- Now you open up a little bit again, now you have to start with gymnastics indoors, for example.

All that is good for people.

But what is good for humans is also good for viruses.

Isn't it dangerous then to open up?

- I think it is important to say this: now we are opening up for measures so that people will feel better and move.

Each such opening entails an increased risk of the spread of infection.
