January 25, 2021 Teachers at a middle school in Celyabinsk, a Russian city located on the eastern slopes of the Urals, marveled at the sudden improvement in their pupils' academic performance.

The schoolchildren have all become diligent, have stopped skipping school and going to class unprepared.

Indeed, they competed to be questioned, getting only good and excellent grades.

The explanation was very simple: a small local restaurateur, Ogannes Ogannisian, distributes free kebabs only to diligent pupils who get good grades.

The owner of the restaurant took pity on three pupils, who entered his room to warm up, who did not have enough money to buy even a single portion of kebab in three.

Then the restaurateur offered them a deal: free kebabs for good academic performance and diligence.

It works like this: a pupil brings to the restaurateur the personal school register, a sort of diary, where the grades and any notes, reprimands or disciplinary actions are reported.

If the grades are good and there are praise for good behavior, the registry holder gets a free portion of kebab.

For each portion delivered, the restaurateur puts his signature on the register to avoid fraud as someone initially tried to cheat, using the register of a better schoolmate.

However, you cannot eat your fill as it is very hard to earn high marks.
