According to reports, the fire department of Metamorfosi received an alarm in the early morning. Residents said that the neighbor’s apartment was emitting heavy smoke and that the elderly living alone in the apartment might need help.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the apartment had been engulfed by flames.
After two hours of hard work, the firefighters finally put out the fire, but when they found the old man in the apartment, they found that the old man had died unfortunately.
At present, the cause of the fire has not been determined. According to preliminary judgments, it may be caused by a failure of the heating system in the house.
According to reports, when the fire first broke out, the deceased may still be in his sleep without noticing it, and eventually led to a tragedy.
