According to information from

La Provence

, the two-year-old boy, missing since January 20 in Carpentras, in the department of Vaucluse, was found in Modena, Italy.

His stepfather, suspected of having kidnapped him, went to the Italian police to bring them back the child, in good health.

After being taken into custody, the 34-year-old man was released.

Our colleagues from the regional daily specify that the boy is temporarily taken care of by the social services of the Italian government.
