Swedish commuters are now being coronated at the Norwegian border

The purpose of the entry ban is to try to limit the spread of the British mutation of the coronavirus.

The decision was made after the Norwegian authorities began to fear a major outbreak of the mutation in the Oslo area.

But at the same time, exceptions are made for people who live or perform work in Sweden, staff who transport goods and other staff in the transport sector.

And to check that none of those people carry the coronavirus, tests are now being carried out on the Norwegian side of Svinesund.

The entry ban is valid until 14 February and can be extended.
