Berlin (dpa / bb) - According to a recent opinion poll, the Greens are in the favor of voters among Berliners.

If a new state parliament were elected on Sunday, the party would get 22.1 percent of the vote, as the pollsters from Civey have determined for the “Tagesspiegel”.

As the newspaper reported on Monday with reference to the representative survey, the CDU followed with 19.4 percent.

The SPD (16.8) and Left (16.7 percent) are close to each other in third and fourth place with a clear gap ahead of the AfD (10.8) and the FDP (7.0 percent).

The current coalition of red-red-green, which has governed since the last election in 2016, would have a clear majority of 55.6 percent eight months before the House of Representatives election.

However, the balance of power has changed significantly: If the SPD, which is the governing mayor with Michael Müller, was the strongest party last time with 21.6 percent, it is currently 4.8 percentage points worse according to the data of the Civey survey would no longer be entitled to the post of head of government.

According to the survey, Green Top candidate Bettina Jarasch would have the best prospects.

The FDP (2016: 6.7 percent) has hardly changed in favor of the voters.
