In the first few months of the pandemic, most people in Hamburg often took off their protective masks as early as possible if the opportunity arose - but now mouth and nose protection has become part of everyday life for many and is often used outside of closed rooms kept on.

In a few years, you will only know this unhappy phase of life from stories.

Or, like long past soccer world championships, with a one-off Panini booklet that will be launched on Tuesday and is not only a document of contemporary history, but also actively helps to alleviate financial hardships.

"#Team Hamburg": The panini booklet that is supposed to help culture in the Hanseatic city

The idea for this came from Lars Meier, the managing director of the PR agency Gute Leude Fabrik, and the Juststickit office, which specializes in saddle books, led by Oliver Wurm and Alexander Boker.

It was then implemented together with the Heinekomm agency.

“The campaign sends out a clear message: Hamburg is sticking together!” Says Meier, who had already organized the “Nobody comes, everyone participates” festival in the spring and was able to collect more than 600,000 euros for the Hamburg cultural scene.

As in the past, freelance artists and other cultural workers can again submit an informal application to at least cushion the financial losses during the pandemic period.

An independent committee then decides on the allocation of funds, for which there is more information at no.

Udo Lindenberg and Dieter Bohlen are also there

And this is how it works: 200 people from Hamburg have had themselves photographed once with and once without a mask - if you buy a booklet for two euros and as many bags with the stickers as possible (five for 80 cents), you can put the mask images on the mask-free faces glue.

The “Who's Who” of the city is also there.

From First Mayor Peter Tschentscher (SPD) to Udo Lindenberg, from Bishop Kirsten Fehrs to writer Ildikó von Kürthy, from Dieter Bohlen to Jan Delay, from Caren Miosga ("Tagesthemen") to Tim Mälzer, from Tobias Schlegl to singer Anna Depenbusch, from HSV to FC St. Pauli or the Towers.

Even professional sailor Boris Herrmann can be collected in this way.

There are also 20 stickers from brands and companies in the city under the heading “We say thank you”.

These companies have helped to finance the printing costs of the collection so that the profits can only go to the cultural scene.

And finally, those who will soon be able to present a full album can take part in a competition - in addition to prizes in kind, there are also accesses and experiences to be won that are otherwise not so easy to get.

The album and the stickers will be available from Tuesday on wherever there are newspapers and magazines.

At www.juststickit.de there is also the option of ordering free of shipping costs; the funding application and information on the prizes can also be found on the website.
