Moscow protested on Monday against the role of the United States Embassy and the “interference” of the American Internet giants, after the demonstrations which gathered tens of thousands of people across Russia on Saturday.
US Ambassador to Moscow John Sullivan spoke to Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Riabkov who voiced "protests" to him, Russian diplomacy spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said. quoted by Russian news agencies.
She also accused the internet giants of "interfering in our internal affairs".
