Lan Lanli had served as Director of the Science and Technology Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Secretary of Guangxi Hechi Municipal Party Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Vice Chairman of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
