Beindersheim (dpa / lrs) - Within just 90 minutes, a small part of Autobahn 6 crashed four times.

As the police announced on Monday evening, a 24-year-old first came off the road with his car at the Grünstadt junction and collided with the guardrail.

The man was unharmed.

While the police were recording the accident, two vehicles crashed into each other in the immediate vicinity.

According to the police, a 33-year-old had overlooked a rapidly approaching car when he tried to change his car to the left lane.

Both handlebars were slightly injured in the accident.

They were both taken to the hospital.

The lane had to be completely closed in one direction for 30 minutes, which resulted in a traffic jam - and at the end of it the next accident.

A 20-year-old missed the end of the traffic jam and crashed into the stationary car of a 60-year-old.

Both drivers were slightly injured in this accident as well.

The fourth accident on the A6 occurred around 8 p.m. between the Wattenheim and Grünstadt junctions.

A 24-year-old lost control of his car, came off the lane to the left and collided with the central barrier.

The man was unharmed.
