The number of people who died with or from Covid-19 rose by 11 to 709, as the Ministry of Health in Saarbrücken announced on Monday (as of 4 p.m.).
A total of 24,585 people have been found to be infected with Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
1515 people are currently infected.
297 people are currently in the hospital, 73 of them in the intensive care unit.
The incidence - the number of new infections in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants - was 111.0.
When it comes to vaccinations, Saarland is 1.8 percent according to the figures from the Robert Koch Institute, which is slightly below the national average of 1.9 percent.
