Cologne (AP) - 1. FC Cologne has signed a new striker for the relegation battle.
According to the club, the Bundesliga club will loan Emmanuel Dennis from Belgian champions FC Bruges from Monday to the end of the season.
Dennis is a fast player who can be used in the storm center and on the outside lanes, said FC managing director Horst Heldt.
The 23-year-old Nigerian has only appeared nine times this season.
He "missed a few games because of a family matter for which he traveled to his homeland in consultation with Bruges," said a statement.
