Erfurt (dpa / th) - In Thuringia, 608 new corona infections were recorded within one day.
The total number of corona cases since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 61,898, according to figures from the Thuringian State Chancellery on Sunday.
In the case of the so-called seven-day incidence, the Free State was still in the top negative nationwide position on Sunday with a value of 207.6 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week.
Most recently, the seven-day incidence in Thuringia fell slightly.
Since the pandemic began in 1913, people in the Free State have died with or from the consequences of a corona infection.
