The Corona pandemic has taken the lives of many Iraqis, including the young woman, Haifa Abdul-Ghani, whose joy of achieving her dream of obtaining a master's degree was not complete, due to her death due to this disease, before discussing her thesis at the University of Mosul in Nineveh Governorate, northern Iraq.
However, the university presidency took a humanitarian initiative, the first of its kind, and decided to discuss the late student’s master’s thesis in the presence of her family, to be the first Iraqi to obtain a posthumous academic degree.
